The new KTS 350 is a compact all-in-one tester consisting of a 10-inch tablet PC and an integrated communication module. Thanks to this versatile solution, the KTS 350 is ideally suited as a tester for independent workshops, mobile mechanics, panel shops, tyre and brake stores. With the pre-installed Bosch diagnostic aplication ESI[tronic] 2.0, the KTS 350 provides an efficient overall package for control unit diagnosis, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair.

PARALLEL CHANNEL COMMUNICATION 

One of the major changes in the architecture of the new generation KTS is the ability to use parallel channels to communicate with the vehicle, allowing communication to more than one CAN system simultaneously, speeding up programming and diagnosis. OEMs, such as Ford, Jaguar Land Rover, BMW and many others, are already using this type of communication. 

As a solution to avoid purchasing multiple OEM diagnostic devices, the new generation KTS 560 and KTS 590 can use PassThru to communicate with the vehicle in the same way as many OEM diagnostic tools. The new generation KTS has been proven to work with these brands:

DIAGNOSTICS OVER INTERNET PROTOCOL (DOIP)

Diagnostics over Internet Protocol (DoIP) provides communication to the vehicle at variable speeds up to 200 times faster than high speed CAN bus systems. The KTS 560 and KTS 590 are the first products in the independent aftermarket that have DoIP capabilities ensuring that communication to vehicles is possible as OEMs develop this technology in the future. The ability to communicate at variable speeds using IP baud rate (speed of data transfer) gives the new generation KTS the advantage of being able to process the data using new protocols which has previously not been possible.

InfoLogger

The InfoLogger data recorder records vehicle Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) and live data (PIDs) for OBD-II and EOBD vehicles. Simply plug InfoLogger into the vehicle's OBD II / EOBD plug and record the data for each trip driven. Visit the InfoLogger website to download the InfoLogger PC software using the included USB cable, then effortlessly upload the recordings to your PC. Easy to use software allows you to review the vehicle DTCs and PIDs, print reports and view data graphs. Compact size allows tool to be left plugged in at all times for ease of use.
